About Us
Temp Right Service Inc. was founded in 1977 by Charlie and Shirley Campfield, to serve the heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration service needs of Western Montana. In 1989 Charlie and Shirley retired and the business was operated by Ted, an employee of ten years, and his wife, Mary Bergsieker. Comfort Systems USA acquired Temp Right in 1997, with Ted remaining as company president.
Comfort Systems USA provided growth in capital and the ability to better train and develop personnel in the highly technical market. Beginning as a State Licensed Contractor employing 3 people in 1977, Temp Right has evolved into a company with more than 80 valuable employees. The array of services has grown to include: Commercial and Residential Construction, Commercial and Residential Service, Commercial and Residential System Maintenance, Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Services, Performance Contracting, and Mechanical System Balancing for both air and water.

As larger facilities were needed, Temp Right moved from the original 600 square foot shop to a facility that has evolved to 16,000 square foot housing engineering, project fabrication, construction department, service department, maintenance department, retrofit department, safety department, administrative offices, and technician dispatch.
The growth in trained personnel and facilities to meet the highly technical needs of the industry have proven to make Temp Right Service the premier provider of Heating, Air Conditioning, Geothermal, Ventilation, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Controls and Indoor Air Quality services in Western Montana.

Safety Is Important To Us. We are dedicated to providing the resources and training to keep our personnel safe during their daily activity. Our company maintains a very low OSHA Incident Rate currently (as of 7-30-2009) less than 3. The industry average is above 9; the difference is dramatic. Temp Right received awards for achieving 250,000 and 500,000 man hours without a recordable accident. This represents over 3 years without a recordable accident.
Single Source Provider. Temp Right Service is unique in its ability to provide a vast array of services to complete a project from inception through conceptual design, budget analysis, construction, commissioning, maintenance, service, and continued availability to the customer when additional services are required. Combining our staff’s wealth of experience with the sophisticated modeling of our CAD (computer-aided design) system, Temp Right is able to ensure a superior design for your commercial building. Our robust designing system performs detailed calculations to determine the capacities and efficiencies which are correct for your application. Our Products. Temp Right Service offers the highest quality products available in our industry. Since 1977, we’ve thrived on the long-term relationships we’ve established with our customers because we provide cost-effective and energy-efficient systems that offer maximum reliability.
Construction. Temp Right Service employs skilled craftsmen with the experience to “get the job done”. We endeavor to train and promote from within the company and as a result, most of the senior staff and field employees were a product of our in-house and field training programs. Temp Right trains employees that are recognized by the State Apprenticeship Training Program. The fabrication facility uses a plasma cutting system with 3D download to ensure material delivered to the field that will fit the application. The fabrication and prefabrication facilities utilize machinery and systems to guarantee quality fabrication at a competitive price.
Service. We offer quality maintenance and service programs that yield tremendous returns and peace of mind for our customers. We are focused on innovative new solutions requiring our staff to receive the latest in technical service training, system design, and professional development. Temp Right Service is recognized for its NATE certified technicians, NADCA certification for indoor air quality, and has received prestigious awards from Comfort Systems USA for “Outstanding Performance and Safety”.

Ted Bergsieker
President
Ted Bergsieker has served as President of Temp Right Service since 1989. Ted joined Charlie and Shirley Campfield at Temp Right in 1979 as one of only two employees. The native Montanan wore many hats in the small and growing HVAC Company. In 1989, Ted purchased the company from its founders, and enjoyed continued company growth until 1997 when Temp Right was purchased by Comfort Systems USA. During his tenure, Temp Right Service has grown to employ over 80 skilled people. “I enjoy watching people grow and develop their potential,” stated Bergsieker. “We have good people - long-term employees - and we invest in them.” Temp Right has become the premier HVAC and Refrigeration installation and service provider in Western Montana. Ted instituted the familiar ‘blue’ service trucks that serve Temp Right’s customers 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Under his leadership, the company’s focus is constantly evolving to meet the needs of both residential and commercial customers to stay at the forefront of the ever-changing HVAC and Energy Services industry.

Travis R. Deaton
Senior Vice President
Travis Deaton, Senior Vice President, Operations, of Temp Right Service has been instrumental in the significant growth of the company’s Construction Division. Joining the company in 1994 as an HVAC draftsman, Travis served the organization in a variety of capacities, including AutoCAD designer, estimator, account manager, and project support. As manager of the Construction Division, the Missoula native is firmly entrenched in the Montana community. He takes pride in Temp Right’s ability to serve both the commercial and residential markets. Serving as the company’s Registered Professional Engineer, Travis states “Temp Right is completely aligned with a customer’s needs. We are able to offer design build versus plan spec. What sets us apart from our competitors is that all services are under one roof. From design to budget analysis to installation to service, we’re the one-stop shop.”
Travis is a Registered Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Montana. He earned an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University. His professional affiliations include recognition as a LEED Accredited Professional, U.S. Green Building Council, and as a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers, Inc.
Scott A. Caldwell
Vice President, Service Operations
Scott Caldwell VP Service Operations, leads Temp Right’s Service Division. The Service Division is responsible for customer support and scheduling, HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration service and repair, system maintenance, system retrofit, and Technician training. Scott’s entire career has been in the HVAC industry. He received his initial HVAC training while serving in the United States Air Force maintaining missile sites.
After previous employment as a Service Technician and Service Manager, Scott joined Temp Right Service in June of 1998. During his time at Temp Right, Scott served as Service Technician, Retrofit Manager, Service Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Vice President, Service Operations.
Scott’s commitment to Temp Right’s standards of excellence is evident to both customers and employees. “We stand behind what we do and we guarantee our customer’s satisfaction.”
