Safeway
Project Details

Temp Right Service, a Comfort Systems USA company, was contracted with Gordon Construction to provide the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing systems for a new Safeway store in Missoula, Montana. The new 55,945 square foot store, located at 800 West Broadway, opened in December, 2008. The HVAC system consisted of 10 packaged gas/electric heating/cooling rooftop units, 14 exhaust fans, 4 transfer fans, 3 class 3 hoods, 2 class 2 hoods, 3 make-up air units, and 5 unit heaters. One of the packaged rooftop units, rated at 21,000 CFM, was installed with a heat reclaim coil to recover the heat generated from the store’s refrigeration systems. The installation of the hoods included stainless steel trim.
